Can I remove a single tile from the middle of the floor without tearing out to the edge?

Yes, we supply a tile removal tool with every order, so you will be able to pop out a single tile from the middle without affecting the rest of the floor.

Are GridWorx Pro tiles better than epoxy floor coatings?

Are GridWorx Pro tiles cheaper than epoxy floor coatings?

There are many different types of epoxy floor coatings including those much cheaper than our tiles. But in order to achieve a similar high-class look, we believe our tiles are much better value. A typical single garage with basic epoxy would cost around $60/sqm but can increase to $100/sqm for a more premium finish.

Can a heavy toolbox roll over easily?

Yes, toolboxes can roll with ease over GridWorx Pro tiles.

Can I install GridWorx Pro tiles myself or must a professional do the installation?

Yes, GridWorx Pro tiles are easily and quickly installed by the end user. They simply snap together without the need of any tools. If you wish you may use a rubber mallet however it is not necessary. This is the added beauty over doing epoxy amongst many other disadvantages.

Are GridWorx Pro tiles comfortable to walk on?

Yes, the channel system underneath our tiles allows them to have “bounce” providing anti-fatigue properties. Companies even use them in their facilities as flooring to provide comfort when standing for hours at a time.

Will the colour of GridWorx Pro tiles fade and are they slippery?

No, GridWorx Pro tiles are fade-resistant due to our UV Stabilizer mixed into the material as well as the colour pigments, making them highly fade resistant and non-slip.

Are GridWorx Pro tiles able to withstand a car jack?

Our GridWorx Pro tiles are built to withstand a considerable amount of weight. Depending on the weight of the vehicle, we may suggest using a rigid piece of material or ¾ inch plywood between the jack stand and tile to distribute the weight to eliminate any possible damage. Even though they can with stand 70000lbs of rollover weight and 3120psi of compression tests if the weight is totally distributed to one area the tile may crack.

Can GridWorx Pro tiles be cut for a custom fit?

Yes, GridWorx Pro tiles can be easily cut using any type of electrical saw with a fine-toothed blade (table saw, circular saw, reciprocating saw, jigsaw etc.) to your specific installation needs.

Are GridWorx Pro tiles resistant to oils and chemicals?

GridWorx Pro tiles are resistant to almost everything except for battery acid. Make sure to keep away from direct heat sources such as butane torches.

Do GridWorx Pro tiles become slippery when wet?

GridWorx Pro tiles are designed for various uses, including wet areas. They have perforations and drainage channels which allows water to quickly flow through the tile leaving a clean, dry, and safe surface.

Can GridWorx Pro tiles be installed over heated flooring?

Yes, GridWorx Pro tiles can resist temperatures of up to 120 degrees celsius.

Can I order a non-standard colour?

Yes, but there is a minimum order quantity due to having to reset the production line.
